Dr. Trent Johnson grew up in Collierville, TN and attended high school at Christian Brothers High School. Dr. Trent played alongside Dr. Corey Acosta while at CBHS and also earned an athletic scholarship to play football Southern Mississippi with Corey as well. Dr. Trent completed a bachelor’s degree at the University of Southern Mississippi in Biological Sciences with minors in Chemistry and Spanish.
Prior to starting his dental career, Dr. Trent coached high school football and taught Chemistry at Horn Lake High School.
Education and Residency
Dr. Trent earned his Doctorate in Dental Medicine (DMD) at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Following dental school, Dr. Trent completed his pediatric dental residency through NYU Langone Health training site located in Salisbury, Maryland. Upon completion, Dr. Trent had the opportunity to join Hawaii Island Community Health Center in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. There Dr. Trent served not only a pediatric dentist to the local community, but also as an attending of pediatric dental residents through NYU Langone Health.

Dr. Trent is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Tennessee Dental Association, and American Dental Association.
Interests
Dr. Trent is married to his wife Jessica, whom he met while attending college at USM. They recently had their first child. They love all things Disney, National Parks, and any water activities including: surfing, snorkeling, boating, kayaking, and spear-fishing.
