Born and raised in Memphis, Dr. Adam Fitzhugh is one of PDOC’s family dentists. He attended Christian Brothers High School and graduated from Middle Tennessee State University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in biochemistry. Dr. Fitzhugh continued his studies at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, where he obtained his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2014.
Dr. Fitzhugh is a member of the American Dental Association, the Tennessee Dental Association, and the Memphis Dental Society. He has volunteered with the Bellevue Baptist Mobile Dental Clinic and Give Kids a Smile, and seeks to continue his volunteer service around the local community.
His wife Kayla is a registered nurse. Dr. Fitzhugh and Kayla enjoy spending time together at Shelby Farms with their dogs. He also enjoys building and flying remote-controlled airplanes. They are both members at Hope Presbyterian Church.
Dr. Fitzhugh’s decision to practice dentistry is based on his passion to work one-on-one with individuals and boost his patients’ quality of life.
